Not a big sneaker guy anymore but I will always have a soft spot for the Cortez. Cheers to my fourth pair.

I think the first pair I bought in 2019 in high school. I destroyed them going on hikes, skating, and other quarantine shenanigans.

The second pair I got in 2021. This one came with a metal dubrae. Not sure why my first pair didn't have it. I destroyed them doing whatever the hell I was doing in college.

The third pair I got in 2024. This one also had a dubrae but lasted the shortest amount of time for some reason. The first time I got something not just black and white as they were an all white pair. They didn't get destroyed, but walking around Seattle rain puddles with wet socks (the front got compromised badly, as this shoe tends to do) was so very unpleasant.

This newest fourth pair is exciting. A very American color way. No dubrae on this pair sadly but I am working on finding some for these shoes. These shoes will see the world!!!
